Ksenya Malina — Principal / Designer

Time & Place Interiors founder Ksenya Malina draws on her knowledge of art and design history to make each client’s home feel sophisticated and authentic. Through her access to one-of-a-kind vintage and cutting edge contemporary designs, Ksenya opens doors for her clients to enjoy living in a bespoke environment that tastefully pushes boundaries of aesthetic conventions.

Ksenya loves working with young New York City professionals who are seeking a fresh start in a new space. The studio offers comprehensive decorating of full rooms — painting and wall finishes, furnishings, lighting, floor coverings, window treatments, art, and accessories — all executed with a professional start-to-finish process.

Ksenya’s blended background in both art and business helps her manage projects that are not only designed creatively, but also run efficiently. She has a B.A. in art history from NYU College of Arts & Sciences, and a MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Ksenya has worked for a New York luxury interior design studio where she oversaw procurement and operations; for Christie’s auction house where she interacted with the best of fine and decorative arts; and for a Big Four global consulting firm at which she fine-tuned exceptional client service practices.

Ksenya is a certified WELL AP through the International Well Building Institute, demonstrating a commitment to advancing wellness in design. The studio is a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council and the Female Design Council.
